In a June 6 letter to AFT president Edward J. McElroy and other supporters in the labor movement, Hillary Clinton thanks her "friends in labor" for all their hard work and support during her presidential campaign.
"Every minute that each of you put into knocking on doors, phoning your fellow members, getting out the vote and doing all the things you did to support my campaign, means more to me than I can ever tell you," Clinton writes. "You and your brothers and sisters were a critical base of support and were in many ways the backbone of my campaign as we fought together to champion the issues critical to organized labor and all working families."
